If costs are too high, the project is not viable - too low and risks compromising the quality. At early stages of the project we offer our costing service to ensure the brief matches budget,drawing on historical data, experience and quantitative measures.

Stage 1:
Initial Consult
As we establish a relationship with a client the first step is to set up an initial consultation. We do this free of charge and to assess the site conditions and limitations of your proposed project.
Stage 2:
Design Brief & Measured Drawings
Upon client engagement we work with you to prepare a Client brief document. The brief is a
dynamic document which is constantly updated as the project develops. Measured drawings of the existing site are organized.

Stage 3:
Concept Design
In conjunction with developing the Client Brief, Concept design is proposed through a medium of sketches, drawings, 3D modeling and precedent images to portray the ideas of the project. Our in house build team provide costing advice to ensure the Brief matches the proposed budget. We have a trusted team of consultants that we draw from to ensure all aspects of the design is covered.
Stage 4:
Planning Approval
Dependent on the scope of works there are various approval pathways available. We analyse the planning instruments to ensure the correct approval pathway is streamlined.

Stage 5:
Construction Documentation
Documentation including, plans, sections, elevations, specifications, details and finishes schedules is prepared to allow for accurate costing. Our in house build team works together with designers to ensure buildability matches the proposed aesthetics for the job.
Stage 6:
Costing
Our estimators provide a full costing breakdown for the scope of works based on the drawings and specifications. We are experienced at delivering different methods of procurement such as Cost Plus and Lump Sum contracts. We also have the ability to operate as Design superintendent if required.
